Cagliari City Administration has got its logo: a red stripe that stylizes the Sella del Diavolo (The Devil’s Saddle), the shape-characterized Cape which plunges into the Cagliari Gulf. The simple profile of the Cape also designs a lip (the sensual face of Cagliari’s lifestyle), an arabic or medieval script (its history), the same shape of the Gulf of Cagliari (also known as Golfo degli Angeli, the Angels’ Gulf) as seen from a satellite, and finally the flight of a seagull, a strong symbol for a free, easy, beautiful mediterranean city. I designed this logo for Didaxa advertising agency.
