Last month I designed a poster for the feast of the fregula istuvada and the cassola, held in Neoneli, a village in the heart of Sardinia, every year in early autumn. Fregula is a typical sardinian traditional pasta, which is cooked in many different ways, accompanied with meat or fish. In this particular occasion ad place, the main plate is fregula with sheep meat. I composed fregula grains to form something similar to a sardinian gold jewel, as you can see on the image below, emphasizing the meaning of this pasta as a real treasure.
