Dai loro arabeschi straordinari, dalle presenze, dalle assenze di traiettorie, i fisici cercano di capire il loro mondo nascosto. Ho cominciato a riprodurre qualcosa di simile per caso, qualche mese fa. Cercavo di far funzionare una penna Bic ormai esausta. Tracciavo ghirigori bianchi su un foglio bianco. Ho notato la rassomiglianza con i tracciati della fisica, un tempo familiari. Ho pensato che passando un pastello nero su queste righe quasi invisibili, avrei visto qualcosa. Il mio pastello è diventato così un rivelatore anche lui, che mi faceva scoprire cose che non immaginavo. Disegnare camere a bolle, da allora, è diventato il mio personale esercizio zen.

My crayon also became a detectors, which made me discover things that I never imagined. Drawing bubble rooms has since become my personal Zen exercise. ]
